Dear owners of pets!
We remind you that according to the RULES OF KEEPING DOMESTIC DOGS, CATS, AND ALSO OF CATCHING NEGLECTED ANIMALS IN THE TERRITORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS,
owners of dogs, cats are obliged:
■ to take domestic dogs, cats to veterinary clinics for examination and vaccination against rabies in accordance with the requirements of the current veterinary legislation;
■ within three days from the date of acquisition of an animal, to register it in the MUE “”Housing and Communal Services Department”at the place of residence;
■ Puppies and kittens must be registered between the ages of 3 and 3.5 months;
■ Registration of dogs of potentially dangerous breeds is carried out only if the owner has a certificate of their appropriate training.
When registering dogs, cats, their owners are issued a registration certificate and a token of an established pattern which must be permanently attached to the animal's collar.
In accordance with Article 15.47.of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses of April 21, 2003. N 194-З, violation of the rules for keeping pets is punished with a warning or a fine in the amount of
from 1 to 15 base units.
The same violation that caused damage to the health of people or their property is punishable by a fine in the amount of
from 10 to 30 base units or administrative arrest.
